Kanyashree's core objectives are clear and focused: ensuring that girls continue their education and delay marriage until they reach at least 18 years of age. The program adopts a straightforward yet impactful approach by implementing a social safety net mechanism known as Conditional Cash Transfers, which has proven successful in transforming the lives of children and adolescents worldwide. The scheme includes two key components:
Annual Incentive: A yearly grant of ₹1,000 for girls aged 13 to 18 who are studying in Class VIII or above. This incentive is provided each year they remain in education, on the condition that they are unmarried.
One-Time Grant: A lump sum of ₹25,000 given when a girl turns 18, provided she is engaged in academic or occupational pursuits and remains unmarried.
Students benefited by Scholarships and Freeship provided by the Institution, government and non-government bodies, industries, individuals, philanthropists during the last five years.
