Welcome to the Department of English.
The Department of English started its journey with the inception of the college, however it is in 2019, we became fully functional with the introduction of Honours Program in the CBCS format and today it has morphed into one of the most vibrant and sought after centres for women students wanting to study English Literature in the town. At present the Department has two Assistant Professors and two Guest Lecturers. It has one Smart Class Room with audio-visual facilities and we are developing one Language Lab for English Language Teaching. We are aware that most of our students come from the rural areas and we are committed to help them nurture their critical appreciation of literary and cultural issues and guide their intellectual journey.
